Case Study:
Virtual reality Experience
The client wanted to create a virtual reality experience that would be footage of their brick and mortar institution, while still being interactive. Almost all interactive virtual reality experiences are computer simulated* and the client wanted to use authentic footage of their team and environment.

Before:
There are no pre-existing examples of interactive authentic virtual reality footage. Industry standards showed two paths - drone footage or computer simulated interaction.
After:
At the end of the project we had a clear path of how to obtain interactive footage that was of the environment and that met the needs of the end users. The project ended with technology recommendations and a fully developed storyboard to help continue the creation of future interactive videos
We took a “what if” into a “it’s possible with…
Creative Development
Rich understanding of the end user experience through research
Innovation, Collaboration, and Experimentation
Cross collaboration amongst 6+ Teams (Internal and External)
Final Outcome:
A fully developed project plan that can be scaled across the organization with 3 years of funding to complete it.
“outstanding to work with!”
“Jessie is a thoughtful and collaborative partner who took time to meet with many members of our community to truly understand their interests and perspectives. She used those insights to create a final product that exceeded our expectations. Jessie provided the foundation our team needed to bring this project to life. She conducted thorough research and guided us toward the strongest path forward through her intentional and impactful approach to storytelling.”
— Becky N, Education Director of Nonprofit*For this project I partnered with a local technology firm to help provide the creative direction and content development.
The technology firm handled coding, content storage, and technology needed for the VR experience.
