Client was an already established luxury senior living community, but members of the surrounding community didn’t know it existed and there was low occupancy as a result. This was a collaborative project with a team of two other communications specialists who all own our own companies.

Before:

The Verena at Hilliard had a lot of components that were working for them (strong culinary, prime location, beautiful building) but they couldn’t pinpoint why the occupancy wasn’t higher.

After:

At the end of the project, occupancy increased by 150%, strong strategic partnerships were developed to help enrich the lives of residents, generate leads, and continue brand visibility and messaging.

The community became a hub and strategic partner for other community organizations through

  • Establishment of brand story and values

  • Sponsorships of community events

  • Collaborative events with strategic partners

  • Development of deep community connections

  • Placement of executives in the community

Final Outcome:

A fully developed project plan that can be scaled across the organization with 3 years of funding to complete it. At the end of the project, Verena at Hilliard, became a strong community partner with a variety of lead generation events that enriched the lives of residents and increased their occupancy by 150% in just three years.
